Arm and leg training in one

The MOTOmed loop also includes a unique height adjustment feature, allowing users to change the height of their MOTOmed models without needing any tools. It also makes it easy to switch between arm and leg training. Furthermore, the high-quality materials used for the softly rounded surfaces of the MOTOmed next generation meet the strict hygiene standards required in health-care facilities and clinics. Most models can be upgraded with additional features and functions through an Upgrade Bundle.

MOTOmed layson.la prof

Effective training for both legs, arms and upper body for patients in hospitals and clinics

The MOTOmed layson is purpose-built to cater to the needs of clinics. This versatile medical device serves patients in intensive care units, critical care, and early rehabilitation by offering passive, motor-assisted, and active training for both the legs and arm/upper body.

Thanks to its height adjustment and user-friendly design, the MOTOmed can be easily and seamlessly tailored to the specific requirements of individual patients. It boasts freely rotatable castors and a readily expandable chassis, making it simple to move and position the MOTOmed near the patient’s bed in a space-efficient manner. The centrally operated 4-point ground fixation ensures a stable stance.

When focusing on lower extremity training, the “TrainCare” feature, equipped with plastic-coated leg guides that can be customized on both sides, ensures a secure leg hold and prevents excessive stretching or locking of the knee joints. The “knee bending adjustment” allows precise individualized adjustment of the knee and hip joint bending and extension, even during the training session.

The MOTOmed muvi

Unlocking Simultaneous Leg and Arm Therapy

The MOTOmed muvi offers a groundbreaking feature – simultaneous movement therapy for both legs and arms. This means that you can train both areas at the same time. You have the flexibility to adjust passive or active training, movement speed, and resistance levels separately for both your legs and arms during this simultaneous movement. For instance, you can engage your legs in passive training while actively exercising your arms simultaneously. Depending on the medical indication, this simultaneous movement can enhance the therapeutic effect and shorten the duration of therapy.

In response to the evolving needs of forward-thinking health-care institutions, RECK Medizintechnik has introduced the high-quality Health-Care product MOTOmed muvi:

All materials used can be disinfected, and adjustments can be made without needing any tools. Different handles are available, which securely lock with a safety bracket if that is required.
